Back in September, Heriot-Watt students enjoyed a day of paddle boarding on one of the region’s scenic rivers set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Scottish Borders.

With rolling hills, golden trees, and calm water reflecting the blue sky, it was the perfect setting to unwind. For many students, it was a first-time experience, and a perfect chance to explore the natural beauty right on their doorstep.
